Potty Training

We decided some time ago that Cushla was ready for potty training. She shows all the signs of being ready. She has the vocabulary to communicate when she needs to go or has gone. She frequently has dry nappies after a nap or in the morning. She's fairly independent. She is beginning to dress herself...etc etc. I read the books and decided to got for it. The potty has been with us for a couple months and she's been getting used to it and trying it out at regular intervals for a couple weeks now but still with the nappy as back up. This week though mummy's 'potty training bootcamp' began.

Meet the team.
Star Player - Cushla Kennedy

Head Coach - Mummy

Assistant Coach - Daddy

Cheerleader - Fraser Kennedy

Some equipment is required.
Big girl pants.

The potty, reward chart and stickers.

...and disinfectant.

Stats so far:

DAY THREE - A breakthrough today! Cushla asked for potty three times today and had three 'hits'! (there was one messy 'miss' incident too but we won't dwell on that...an improvement on the three 'miss' incidents yesterday)

the fun continues...
